Dialogues and Dancing
An abstract composition featuring Theodora's ever-evolving visual language inspired by her Greek heritage and ancient symbols.
48×48×1.5”
I’m captivated by the beauty and rhythm of written and oral languages. I am the child of a Greek immigrant and grew up speaking Greek and English at home. I learned Danish as an exchange student in high school, studied French briefly in college and lived in Sevilla, Spain for a college semester abroad.
I consider these marks my ever-evolving visual language, influenced by ancient symbols, global cultures and historic languages. When I combine these marks into compositions with movement and energy they morph into that space where words pause and dancing speaks volumes.
Acrylic and gesso on cradled wood panel with painted edges. Contains intricate details, layers of underpainting and textured surfaces.
NOTE: Price does not include shipping. Due to the large size a shipping/courier service estimate, please reach out to contact@theodoramiller.com for a quote.
