An individual “Take What You Need: LUCK” ceramic ornament, hand built and hand carved by Theodora with a velvet ribbon.
Remember those “take what you need” paper signs? The ones that would have sentiments written down vertically and pre cut so you could pull one off that resonated with you? That school-days memory became the inspiration for deconstructing 7 Wishes into individual ceramic ornaments.
Each piece contains its unique character, shape and imperfections — all imprints of the artistic process and the hand of the maker.
•Built by hand in red clay by Theodora Miller
•Painted white underglaze before first firing and clear glaze painted before second firing
• Artist signature and English translation of the individual wish on the back of each ornament. Ribbon color may vary.
While fully-glazed pieces are lead free, food safe and durable for the dishwasher, hand washing is highly recommended. Handle with care. Take caution with unglazed pieces that remain porous. Bottoms are usually unglazed; therefore, lift the piece instead of dragging on a surface. to avoid damage.
