Still Life

As Henry Miller said, “It takes a lifetime to discover Greece, but it only takes an instant to fall in love with her.” As a first generation Greek American, I was fortunate to spend many summers visiting family in Greece. The people, land, light and food all nourish me in profound ways. I return as often as possible to fill my vessel with inspiration and to recharge my soul. When I can’t travel across the ocean, I escape into nature most often in my quaint urban garden tucked under a giant elm tree.
